It is a sparkling wine, with a quite youthful mousse, rather deep colour, I would say light towards medium golden. Very fine nose, I think it is showing a good ripeness, but at the same time that mineral sensation, quite a lot of finesse. I get some flinty, stony notes there with some nutty notes; like hazelnuts and almonds. We have ripe, but not overripe fruit here, notes of fresh pear, some yellow fruit, like apricots. A certain maturity and complexity. Good bite on the palate, this is fairly on the dry side, I would say close to extra brut, you do not feel a lot of sweetness in there. Really well balanced here, with those layers of stone fruit on the palate, good amount of freshness. Really persistent flavours here, stone fruit, but I really like that bite on the finish. Dry with that mineral sensation the mousse is finely integrated. It really feels it has a certain amount of maturity as well. Well underlined by bright acidity. Really good length. I really like this one, it is a nice illustration on how you can combine ripeness with freshness. A certain amount of elegance as well. Something I would be happily drinking.
