Medium deep pink with some age and a copper hue, lively but fine bubbles. The nose is intense with an approaching complexity, certainly with a red fruit of pinot character where raspberry, red currant, ginger and ginger bread spices meet some brioche and butter from the lees ageing, still with a slight “green” touch of pistachio nuts. The palate is rather dense with a fine balance between creaminess and acidity, rather dry in terms of dosage, but nicely balanced with nice ripe red fruit, ginger bread spices and a long ripe finish. Fine drinkability today, yet with potential.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
