Champagne JM. Gobillard & Fils – Cuvée Cinq NV – Premier Cru Extra Brut

Rather youthful colour here, pale straw, with a green tinge. Youthful and lively bubbles. Good purity on the nose here. Rather floral, with some notes of white flower. The fruit is moderately ripe, like yellow apple, pear. Clear notion of minerallity as well. I think it has some stony, flinty notes. Good grip there on the palate, quite distinct. Bone dry, probably extra brut. Medium weight here. Quite youthful not in a negative way. Crispy and zesty fruit there with some lime, lemon, green apple, pear. Good emphasis on minerality and a quite long finish.
