Champagne J. Vignier – NV – Grand Cru Brut

Quite fine bubbles here, youthful and vivid but well integrated with a light golden nuance. Pure nose. Displaying slightly more chardonnay presence to me. With yellow fruit, stone fruit, ripe citrus. Slight hint of vanilla and some nutty components as well. Good bite on the palate. It appears quite dry in a positive sense. Not a lot of dosage or sugar in here. Very bright acidity. In terms of fruitiness, it is showing ripe lemon with barely-ripe stone fruit. With a nice mid-palate with a quite creamy texture. Long fresh finish, really well built Champagne. Still on the youthful side but it should certainly develop quite well over the coming years.
