Champagne Eric Legrand – Bulle De Folie NV

Medium deep straw colour, with a slight green tinge, appearing rather youthful. Medium intense bubbles. The nose is more restrained, displaying green apple, citrus, lime, no maturity or age really. Palate is more on the light weight side, with just-about-ripe fruit there, green apple, citrus, lime. Fresh acidity there, still appearing quite youthful. With gentle creaminess on the mid-palate. A bit more fruitiness on the finish, with some notes of apple and pear. However still in my mind appearing more youthful, in a lighter style. Some room for development here, unless you enjoy it young and fresh for its more aperitif style.
