Champagne De Castelnau – Réserve NV – Brut

Medium high colour intensity here, light to medium golden. With quite youthful mousse. Nose is quite fine here, good purity. Some floral notes, hints of ripe citrus. It feels more like a classic blend of the varieties perhaps with a dominance of Chardonnay in this case. Some yellow fruit, saffron and almond as well. No oak or oxidation really. Palate has a good bite. Fresh acidity and a fine combination of medium intense creamy mousse. The dosage is not too high either. The palate has more yellow fruity notes, some hints of fresh butter. So well balanced with a quite long finish. Well balanced with a good drinkability.
