Champagne Cuperly – Cuvée Grande Reserve NV – Grand Cru Kosher

It is a sparkling wine, still with a fairly youthful colour; slightly straw, with youthful, quite fine bubbles. Generous nose, it is clean; with some floral notes. Then I get a touch of quite ripe fruits, in this case; like, stone fruits, yellow plum, peach, then there is a slight hint of butter, a hint of almond. Palate is a rather light towards medium body style. Good freshness there, a nice bite of acidity, so fairly dry. Not dosage which is marked in a way. I kind of like that combination of ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Good creaminess well integrated bubbles, rather long finish with a good emphasis on freshness towards the finish. Still a fairly youthful style, but in mind fully enjoyable today.
