Medium deep, golden colour, indicating some maturity and quite fine, quite tiny bubbles. The nose is very forward, slightly tropical here with notes like, mango, peach, some nutty notes. Good bite on the palate, medium towards full in terms of weight and body. There is a good gripe there, some phenolic, a slightly phenolic touch to it as well. It is showing some age and some complexity, so I think it is well integrated now. That ripeness of fruit is backed up by quite fresh and vital acidity. The mousse is already quite well integrated, rather fine on the mid-palate. So quite fine, rich and powerful style, with a good degree of ripeness; however well underlined by this fresh acidity. Finish is medium towards long, it keeps lingering, and it has some length. Certainly a good level of drinkability today, more I would say, small grower style, classic blend with some preponderance of Pinot Noir.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
