Obviously a sparkling wine with a medium intense straw colour, towards light golden. Quite youthful mousse. Fine noses, good purity, some maturity and complexity here, some vinous notes from the lees, fresh butter, a hint of brioche. Fruitiness is more towards the yellow fruit; like stone fruit, peach, ripe citrus. Good gripe on the palate. I like this because it has really vital freshness, mouth-watering. I would say almost austere, in the positive sense of the word, because it gives you that mouth-watering sensation. The fruit is still ripe, quite elegant fruit flavours there, yellow fruit, with those zesty notes of lemon and grapefruit. Mid-weight, with a nice mid-palate, good creaminess there, well integrated mousse. Persistent flavours, good length and harmonious on the finish. I think this is a nice and stylish, quite classic blend, however, made more in a slightly precise, refreshing and elegant style. I like it.
