Inky dark purple core. Ripe and modern nose with fine toast and oak, still youthful but nuanced with fine layers of dark berries, cassis, kirsch, leather, tobacco and gingerbread spices. The palate has a high concentration but modest extraction with grainy tannin, savoury dark fruit and a well-preserved freshness, finely toasty notes, coffee bean and a long powerful finish. Youthful but certainly very potent.
