Quite deep colour here intense blue-purple core with a slightly more ruby rim. Attractive nose here modern style, quite polished with dark fruit; blackberry, dark cherry, some floral almost violet like notes. There is a slight spiciness of clove, some black pepper and a quiet discreet oak. Good weight here, but rather a fruity expression here. With ripe, sweet fruit. However, not jammy or cooked, but ripe with those juicy blackberries, dark plum. Fine spices, well integrated tannin and oak there. Offering a great level of drinkability today. There is a fine freshness on the finish too. I think that the alcohol feels like you don’t really taste it, you feel the ripeness, but not alcohol per se. So an attractive and juicy drinkable wine.
