Intense dark purple core and hue. Fine aromatic intensity on the nose with bold dark fruit, cassis, cherry, violet and sage with a hint of new oak and toast. The palate is bold and rounded, yet with a fine spine of tannin and a good level of fresh acidity, unctuous dark fruit flavours, crushed black currant, dark chocolate and fine spice flavours. Dense, long and lingering finish.
