Cave de Roquebrun – Baron d’Aupenac 2016 – Saint Chinian Roquebrun

Intense dark inky purple colour. Ambitious nose of new oak with ripe but nuanced fruit like cassis, plum and cherry with bay leaf and violet. Dense palate, well-structured with grainy tannin, a good dose of freshness and a long layered finish.
