Dense inky core with a garnet hue. Ripe nose displaying dark and dried fruit with prune, liquorice, dark berries and a balsamic spiciness. The palate is dense, still a youthful texture and high tannin, rich and ample fruit, some new oaky notes and fairly long, finish, still a bit restrained by the tannin, needing time to open.
