Light amber colour. Complex and intense nose in a deliberately oxidised style, some volatile and balsamic notes but balanced for its style, nutty with leather, dried fruit, honey and pastry, quite spicy too. The palate is intense and spicy with high but balanced sweetness, very complex and layered with a long, rich and spicy finish, very nice.
