Cantina San Lorenzo – Escol Riserva 2012 – Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane

Inky dark purple colour. Pure and layered nose, ripe dark cherry, plum, tobacco, fine spices, discreet oak and tobacco. The palate is dense and full, nicely balanced by a fresh acidity, fine and grainy tannins, and a long and grippy finish, still appearing youthful with a lot more to come.
