Very dark and inky colour, almost black at the centre; coloured legs. Youthful nose, almost reminiscent of freshly fermented grapes; dark fruitiness there with sweet plum, blackberry, cassis. Good grip on the palate, certainly a dense core with plenty of fine tannins, very grainy, and I think they’re almost integrated; however is a very sturdy and rich style of wine that will develop from further aging. Clean and crunchy dark fruit, those plum, cassis, blackberry flavours keep lingering on the palate. Discrete wood, not really too oaky. Fresh and vibrant, very good length, finely integrated oak. Nicely done, good potential for long aging due to that high extract.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
