Calmel & Joseph – 2016 – Languedoc

Medium deep straw colour with a pink/copper hue. Youthful and pure nose, no oak, primary fruit, crushed apple, fresh grapes, garrigue and citrus. Medium weight on the palate, classically bone dry with a slight phenolic/skin bitterness, notes of fennel, fresh herbs and youthful fruit with a balanced acidity and a fairly long warm finish.
