Calcu – Calcu Futa 2010 – Colchagua Valley

Inky dark purple core but a bit of maturity on the rim. Intense nose with high ripeness, layers of dark fruit, cassis, black cherry, roasted oak and tobacco with an approaching aged complexity. The palate is very dense and concentrated, it has reached a good level of drinkability, integrated but plenty of tannin, notes of cocoa, tobacco, cassis and sage. Very long and muscular finish, a big and powerful wine that will still age for a very long time.
