Red wine with a slightly developed colour towards the rim, quite deep ruby core. Very expressive nose here, multi-layered with fine spices; plum, pepper, some floral notes, a lot of ripe red berry fruit. Nicely underlying by some toasted oak. I would say already appearing still slightly young, but yet with a dash of complexity. Very nice palate here, we have a good degree of concentration of fruit here, elegant wild berry fruit, with some notes of blackberry, with hints of freshly ground pepper, that elegant almost like gingerbread, ginger, sweet pepper, clove. Multi-layered with really finely grained tannins, backed up by a brilliant freshness. Really long and lingering finish, with a good deal of complexity. A wine I find having both concentration and complexity, but also very juicy and nice drinkability. An excellent wine.
