Dense dark purple colour. Youthful nose of dark berries, plum, some roasted oak and spice box. Nicely layered palate with concentrated dark fruit, blackberry, cherry, pepper, clove and cinnamon notes, fine wood and some tobacco leaf flavours. The texture is youthful but with ripe tannin and well balanced acidity, powerful and long finish, well built with both concentration, power and nuance.
