Dark inky purple core. The nose shows a high ripeness, dark fruit, plum, cherry, cassis and new oak, with some leather/meaty notes. The palate is still youthful, quite massive with high tannin, roasted oak notes and a long, opulent finish, enjoyable fruit and loads of weight but a bit dense and tight with a tannic finish. Should develop but will need more time.
