Still a very dark ruby core with purple hue. The nose is modern with dark fruit and finely toasted wood, notes of cassis, plum, cherry and aniseed. The palate is rich and concentrated with good extract and rounded tannin, plush fruit, a fine toastiness and long meaty finish, a well-made modern example to enjoy now, yet with potential for development
