Dark and intense ruby red core, high viscosity. The nose is discreet at first displaying wild berries, some meaty and smoky notes with pepper, clove, ginger and some roasted oak. The palate is nicely layered with fine spices, black pepper and ginger giving a lift to the dark berry fruit, good oak and fine tannin, long, fresh and intense finish, an approaching complexity. A wine with both elegance and power, great potential indeed.
