Inky dark colour. Layered nose blending red and dark berries with pepper and dry spices, plum, cherry, cassis and tobacco with fine oak and some meaty notes. The palate has a dense core of fruit, concentrated with moderate extraction and fine grainy tannin, some notes of cocoa powder. Long fleshy and lingering finish with spicy dark fruit, nicely done with both weight and freshness.
