Medium deep, medium towards deep, still a ruby core, but the colour is fading on the rim. Quite traditional style here, more dried fruitiness, like dry cherry, prune. Clear presence of oak here; vanilla, wood. Some dried spices; like anise seed, caraway. Quite generous palate. Rather full here with a lot of sweet fruit. Quite mellow tannin there. Offering almost a sense of sweetness, even if it is a dry wine, but the fruit is really ripe. The oak is still quite present. So rounded palate, offering that dry, almost jammed fruit. Generous amount of oak, still appearing a bit roasted on the aftertaste. So high density and concentration of fruit, but mellow tannin with a medium towards long finish.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
