Medium towards deep ruby-red, appearing quite youthful. Quite generous nose here, floral perfumed, violet, dark berries. Discreet oak rather fruity expression. Same thing goes for the palate. It is really finely polished texture, a good level of freshness, giving a lift to that sweet fruit. Rounded and quite opulent with blackberry, raspberry notes. Fine spiciness, indiscreet wood. In terms of extract, we have a slight hint of tannin adding freshness. I would certainly call this a wine that is ready to drink. It should probably gain a bit more complexity from further aging. At this stage it is really drinking well, offering a nice subtle fruit-driven style.
