Quite intense colour here, medium deep, golden. Quite tiny bubbles as well, indicating a certain maturity. Generous nose here, both with ripe fruit and a certain maturity coming from the lees here. Displaying some bready notes, like brioche. Hint of quite ripe stone fruit as well, like yellow fruit, like apricot, yellow plum. On the palate it is quite lush and tropical with plenty of those yellow fruity notes; like mango, peach, apricot coming through. Well balanced by a good level of freshness there. Acidity which is still quite pronounced, it gives the backbone while the mousse is rather is still present, but quite finely tuned. Medium bodied in terms of weight, I would say, with a quite long finish. Still appearing a bit more youthful on the finish with a good emphasis of that fresh acidity. Certainly a Champagne that can keep on developing.
