Bailly Lapierre – Pinot Noir Brut NV – Crémant de Bourgogne

Pale colour, slight green tinge, sparkling with youthful vivid mousse. Pure nose showing off a mixture of ripe pear, some almond, and also some red berry notes; red berry and plum. Still in a youthful stage, no complexity from aging really. Good bite on the palate, it has a quite nice grip. Quite good structure here, a bit more extract and bite with ripe autumn fruit like ripe pear and plum. Balanced acidity still keeping freshness on the palate. Creamy texture, with a little bit of sweetness in the finish. Well balanced in a friendly style, for early drinking.
