Dense ruby red with a purple hue. Complex and intense nose, lots of dry spices, pepper, liquorice and dark berries with some meaty and smoky notes. The palate is dense and tight, still with a tannic presence, yet alanced with layers of spicy dark fruit and a vigorous acidity underneath, long and dense finish, fine potential, still feels like a style that would deserve another few years in the cellar.
