Château Hostens Picant – Lucullus Cuvée d’Exception 2014 – Sainte Foy Bordeaux

Dense dark ruby core with a purple hue. Sweet nose of new oak, vanilla, dark fruit and some herbal notes. Medium bodied with a youthful dense texture, aromatic herbs, high tannin starting to soften, lush young dark fruit with cassis and plum notes. Dense long finish with spicy dark fruit, still youthful but fine potential for development.
