Rather dense ruby core starting to fade at the rim. The nose is mature with a certain complexity with prune, dried berries, leather, aniseed, pepper and some new wood. Structured palate with dense fruit and a rigid backbone, ripe tannin, good freshness, starting to open up showing more complexity and long spicy finish with meaty and dark fruity notes.
