Chamlija – Thracian 2017 – Kirklareli Istranca Baglari

Intense dark inky colour. Ripe yet fragrant nose offering layered dark fruit with mild hints of oak and smoke, bright dark fruit notes like cassis, dark cherry, with fine tobacco, leather and butterscotch. Dense palate, still youthful with some oaky and roasted flavours, high tannin still deserving some time to soften. Warm and ripe with bold flavours, a long and chewy finish with a slight touch of alcohol. Ambitious and layered, yet very young deserving a few more years to soften and gain harmony.
