Very youthful colour, dark ruby with a purple core. Young nose. Quite generous and modern with roasted oak, plenty of dark fruit, plum, dark cherry, blackberry and a mild spiciness. Quite dense structure on the palate. Still youthful with quite a lot of tannin, high extract. There is fresh acidity to it. Quite high ripeness of fruit. Oak is well hidden beneath that wealth of fruit. There are some mild spiciness, hint of vanilla and quite a long finish. I would say this is good potential but it still needs another two years in the cellar to round off that tannic edge. From then on, it should easily have ten plus years life ahead of it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
